Mitsubishi Electric VRF Replacement in Bristol

Pleased to have completed our first VRF installation of the year – a fantastic achievement by the Chiller Technical Solutions team, who worked through the nights to deliver an outstanding result.

The customer requested Mitsubishi Electric equipment to replace an ageing system, and we were happy to provide a modern, energy-efficient VRF solution tailored to their requirements.

With a particularly tricky outdoor condenser location, this project was the perfect opportunity to utilise our strip-down and rebuild service – ensuring safe positioning, precision reassembly, and minimal disruption on site.

Another great team effort and a strong start to the year.

A Mitsubishi Electric VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system is a commercial and large residential air conditioning system that can heat and cool multiple rooms or zones using one outdoor unit connected to several indoor units.

🔧 How It Works

  • One outdoor condenser connects to multiple indoor fan coil units.
  • The system adjusts the amount of refrigerant flowing to each indoor unit.
  • Each room (zone) can be controlled independently.
  • Some systems can heat and cool different areas at the same time (heat recovery models).

💡 Key Benefits

  • Energy efficient – Only supplies the amount of refrigerant needed.
  • Individual room control – Perfect for offices, hotels, retail, and large homes.
  • Space saving – Fewer outdoor units compared to split systems.
  • Quiet operation
  • Flexible installation – Long pipe runs and multiple indoor unit styles (cassette, ducted, wall-mounted, etc.).
